  Called my 60+ year old step-father - prior to end of month advising him that policy is due to cancel if not paid.. My father (who has issues speaking English) told them best way he could - that it will be paid at end of month.. They hung up said ok.. Come end of month - instead of following to make sure client wants the policy to terminate - THEY sat around and let the policy lapse.
  
  They terminated the policy at end of month & never cared to even notify or follow up with me - to give me a chance to pay - for reinstatement - with MINIM lapse.. Instead they did nothing - sat around while my family kept driving multiple vehicles thinking they had coverage - but instead were without ANY coverage AT ALL!! ... What kind of insurance agency is this???? that does not even care to CALL YOU TO notify you that you NO LONGER have coverage with them - for 3x cars//vehicles - for your entire family. What do I buy insurance for in the first place?? Why did I get a 6 or 12 month policy for in the first place?? To be COVERED !! not to have the RUG Pulled from under my entire family- left exposed to massive legal troubles/as well as record issues at DMV..
  
  I took out a 6 month policy - not a month to month pay as you go. If I wanted that I would have went to the General! If they were advised policy will be paid at end of the month - whey didnt they ever call on the 30th or on the 1-2-3-4-5 of the month advising hey buddy you no longer covered with us.... Watch out !!! instead my daughter, my son, my wife is driving without deem coverage for over 34+ days while the people at this agency did nothing to notify us of this via phone call. They never called my wife - whom they had contact info for - from previous reported claims. They never contacted my son -who setup this policy to begin with - and reported/submitted all the previous information - including pictures/info/etc.. up the policy !! They had everyone's contact info from previous correspondences *& transactions - instead they DID NOTHING to follow up & inform me of their actions of terminating my 6 month policy - mid-term... Now I am being informed by the DMV I have to turn in my plates - for 34 days - for 4 vehicles - for my entire family - because for the 2nd time - STATE FARM has managed to ruin my life & my family life. They once did this before - knowing how DMV is with 2nd chances - they should have known better - then not even call the family that they NO LONGER have coverage - the 30th of the month.. INEXCUSABLE !! Worst agency in the world.. I cannot even start to fandom my feeling right now - yet along my thoughts... Crooks do these type of things.. Not reputable companies..... to make things even WORSE when I called them yesterday - I was informed to pay $2.3k --- what is currently outstanding on the policy - and that everything will be "OK" - that they will send info to the DMV that everything is ok & I have coverage. So when I was told that - I understood it as they honoring the existing 6 month policy - me covering the previous months bills - plus late fees - and BEING COVERED !! instead they notified the DMV of my 34 lapse- after charging me $2.4k - with a promise that "EVERYTHING WILL BE OK". Today I called & It was a "Miscommunication" ... Never met in my whole live a more impotent insurance carrier in my life then this....
