  Dr Rubio is, by far, the best vet I have ever been to. He and his assistant dealt very well with my dog who had a tick stuck in his ear. My 60 pound dog is very sweet but he really hates when you try to take a tick out or have to check him out medically in any sort of way. HE BECOMES VERY AGGRESSIVE. Other veterinarians I've been too don't even want to deal with him.
  
  Even though my dog is very aggressive when you try to get ticks out of him him, Dr Rubio, his assistant and I managed to get the muzzle on him and got the tick out quickly and very safely. Somehow they were able to cut his nails also. My boy was perfectly OK afterwords. They weren't even phased about the situation at all. They were very calm and held their composure the whole time. They were also very personable and friendly. Veterinarians and their staff who deal with him usually aren't so friendly with me afterwords.
  
  I highly recommend Dr. Rubio because if they can deal with getting a tick out of my dog, they can deal with any situation.
