  I was told that the cost of a night guard was $450 and my insurance would not cover the cost. I asked them to submit the claim to the insurance company anyway!! The staff told me they will and after several days they told me they did and it was not covered!! Which I found hard to believe. Long story short.... my insurance did cover it!!! The dentist tried to pocket $351.60 of my money. Cost of Guard $450.00, my cost after insurance $98.40.
  
  Dr. B not sure how to respond back to your reply to my review, so I will add more to my original review. First of all, my review is accurate and I know ALL the facts. Second, your office manager called me and told me she put in the claim and the insurance did not cover. Therefore I called my insurance company to find out that your office never even submitted the claim. Which then I had the rep 3 way call your office manager to inform her that the guard is covered. Third, it is your responsibility as a service provider to know how to bill correctly and predetermine the cost before having them sign a form agreeing to pay $450. You knew in advance what I was coming in for and could have easily checked with my insurance prior, instead your office manager tells me no insurance covers a mouth guard! Come on now... 34 years in the business you know that's not true!!! Lastly, I picked up my guard today and you guys couldn't even provide me with a container. I literally received the guard in a sealed bag!! I guess that was your way of getting back for my review.
