    It was a wonderful experience to eat at this Brazilian place in Rockaway. The chef and staffs were very helpful in explaining the food and showing us the photos of its offering. We had a very refreshing acai bowl, Brazilian style empanada and steak. As we had our dog with us, we had our meal on the bench outside. The staff was very attentive with the service even when we sat outside of the bistro.

    Great food, great service. Fun atmosphere despite the size (small shack) and despite the lack of AC.
    Had some tapiocas and the coxinhas. But the star of the night was the feijoada. Feijoada is so pervasive on Brasil that it's hard to get a good one sometimes and in the US it's almost impossible. But these folks truly impress. All the accoutramont and perfectly balanced flavor. If your're in the Rockaways DO NOT MISS BEACH BISTRO 96
